Shepherd’s Table, located in downtown Silver Spring, MD, serves individuals from all walks of life, experiencing a unique set of challenges, from homelessness, unemployment, mental health challenges, substance abuse, physical disabilities, and more. They provide free meals, social services, medical support, clothing, and other assistance in an effective and compassionate manner.

In this challenging time, Shepherd’s Table wants to expand help to their neighboring restaurants, who are experiencing closures and changes in their operations. Inspired by Joanne, one of their volunteers, and her way of giving back to the community, they have started a  “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” initiative. Curbside Kitchen is honored to participate in this initiative.
